Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TEN THOUSANDS REFLECTIONS, MCHJ ("we", "us", "our") processes information when you use our mobile application PVNomics Solar Calculator (the "App") and our related pages (the "Service").

1) Key Points (Plain Language)

2) Information We Process

A) Location (only if you choose GPS-based solar data)

If you choose GPS-based solar data, the App may access your device location to determine solar irradiance parameters for your area.

Important: your device may provide precise GPS coordinates, but before any solar data request is sent, the App rounds the coordinates (for example, to approximately 0.01°) so that only an approximate location is transmitted off the device.

If the App offers manual city selection, you may use that option instead of GPS.

B) App inputs and saved results (stored locally)

The App processes the values you enter (for example: electricity usage, system assumptions, losses, efficiency, autonomy days) to compute results such as system size, annual production, payback period, and CO₂ offset.

Saved calculations (including named calculations and generated exports like PDF/CSV) are stored on your device. We do not operate an account system that stores your saved calculations on our servers.

C) Purchases (subscriptions / lifetime)

If you purchase Pro features (subscription or lifetime), we process purchase and entitlement information to:

Payments are handled by Apple App Store / Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

D) Diagnostics (crash reports / performance)

If diagnostics are enabled in the App build, we may collect technical data such as:

We configure diagnostics to avoid collecting direct identifiers (such as name, email, or contacts). However, technical data may include device/app identifiers required for diagnosing issues and operating the Service securely.

E) Support communications

If you contact us (for example by email), we receive the information you provide (such as your email address and the content of your message). We use it only to respond and provide support.

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

4) Sharing and Third Parties

We share information only as needed to provide the Service:

A) Solar/irradiance data providers

When you request the optional GPS-based solar-data lookup, the App sends rounded coordinates (approximately 0.01°) to the NASA POWER climatology service (power.larc.nasa.gov) to retrieve solar parameters. NASA POWER may receive standard request metadata (such as IP address and request headers) as part of operating and securing its service.

B) Purchases and entitlement service providers

We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) to validate in-app purchases and manage Pro entitlements. This can involve processing purchase receipts/transaction identifiers and an anonymous app-install identifier for entitlement and fraud prevention. No account or email is required.

C) Crash reporting / diagnostics service providers

We use Sentry (sentry.io) to receive crash reports and technical diagnostics to improve stability. Sentry is configured not to send default personally identifiable information, and performance tracing is disabled. Diagnostic events may still include technical metadata such as app, device and operating system details, stack traces, app-action breadcrumbs and standard network metadata.

D) Platform providers (Apple / Google)

Apple and Google provide platform services including payment processing and store analytics. We may rely on their systems for aggregated reporting and distribution functionality.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share information for targeted advertising.

5) Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

Support communications are kept as long as necessary to address your request and maintain support history.

Diagnostics and purchase-related data may be retained by service providers for periods necessary to provide their services, troubleshoot issues, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations.

6) Your Choices and Controls

7) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain data we process, and to object to certain processing.

Because we do not maintain user accounts and most app data is stored locally on your device, many requests can be handled by deleting data in the app or uninstalling it.

For requests related to diagnostics or purchase/entitlement records processed by our service providers, contact us at support@ttrlabs.co and we will respond as required by applicable law.

8) International Transfers

Service providers may process data on servers located in different countries. Data may be transferred internationally as part of providing the Service.

9) Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date above.
